Thraasu — Privacy Policy

1. On the phone

The current bill, the shop name for receipts, the shop's prices and its photos are saved in the phone's browser storage. Without an account they never leave the phone; a backup file is made only when you tap Backup, and goes wherever you choose to send it.

2. What a shop account stores

• Shop name and the owner's mobile number, given when asking for a shop. The number is used only to confirm who owns the shop (for example before resetting a forgotten PIN) and to contact the shop about its account.
• The PIN, as a salted one-way hash (PBKDF2): it cannot be read back, by us or anyone.
• The shop's prices, the product photos it adds, its item list and stock counts.
• For each sold bill: which items and how much of each, to lower the stock. These are deleted after 60 days.
• Each sold bill as printed: its number and time, items, prices, discount, and whether it was paid in cash, by UPI or on credit, so every phone of the shop can show and print it again. Deleted three days after the sale. No customer name, number, UPI ID or card detail is ever collected.
• A login record per phone (stored only as a hash), so the phone stays logged in.

This is stored with Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages and its D1 database). It is visible to the shop through its code and PIN, and to the operator of this service to run and support it. It is not sold, shared, or used for advertising. When a new shop is requested, its name, shop code and the owner's mobile number are emailed to the operator, so the request can be checked and approved.

3. Network requests

The app loads its typeface from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com), which receives your IP address and browser details under Google's privacy policy. With a shop account, the app talks to this same website to sync. Like any web request, the hosting provider (Cloudflare) records standard server logs such as IP address and time, used for delivery and abuse prevention.

4. Deleting your data and your Thraasu shop account

Without a shop account nothing is stored on our server: uninstalling Thraasu, or clearing its data, removes everything. Logging out of a shop account removes the shop's data from that phone.

To delete a shop account and everything stored for it:

1. Email ckventurestech@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my Thraasu shop".
2. Give the shop code you log in with and the mobile number the shop registered with.
3. We confirm with that mobile number, delete the shop within 7 days, and reply when it is done.

What is deleted: the shop's name, the owner's mobile number, the shop code and PIN, its prices, item list, added and removed items, stock counts, product photos, sold bills, every phone's login, and the emails about the shop's request.

What is kept: nothing that is in use. Our database host's automatic backups (Cloudflare D1) can hold a copy for up to 30 days, after which it is gone.

5. Shop accounts

The app works fully without an account. We set up a shop account for each shop that asks; nothing is sold or paid for in the app. If a shop account ends, nothing is deleted: its phones carry on alone for a few more bills, and sync resumes if it is renewed.

6. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new "last updated" date.
